Ground-Fighting Branch of lohanquan

lohanquan
It is a branch of shaolin lohanquan, popular in
Shandong province and Dalian city (on Liaodong peninsula). This style included
seevral important methods from praying mantis style and emphasizes
fighting from the ground.
Main sets are:
- Yingmen zhiqu (front attacking)
- Ziluquan (fist of child's way)
- Bafangquan (fist of eight directions)
- Lianzhang (continious palm) or kaimenquan (fist of
opening the gate)
- Hantong
- Huache
- Jianshou (scissor hands)
Also there exists zuibaxian (eight drunken immortals)
and yanmingquan (swallow fist).
Main weapon sets are:
- Chunqiu dadao (halberd of "Springs and Autumns")
- Fangtian huaji (drawn ji of square skys)
- Dacha panlonggun (big divided stick of squadded
dragon)
- Sanjiegun (three-sectional staff)
- Hutou shuanggou (double hooks "tiger head")
- Baxianjian (sword of eight immortals)
- Ditang shuandao (double broadswords for
groundfighting)
- Wuhua dao (broadsword of five flowers)
- Sima dao (Sima's broadsword)
- Qihuan bian (seven-sectional wheep)
- Wuhuan bian (five-sectional wheep)
