Three Emperors [who strikes] as Cannon Boxing

Sanhuang Paochui

            Also called Paochui. A northern style probably coming from Mount Emei. It was taught by Monk Puzhao in early 1700's. A substyle of this one was created in early 1800's by Song Mailun (1809 - 1893) after the influence of many other styles and took the name of Pao quan (cannon boxing).

Main features: a powerful straight punch targeting the opponent's middle chest, sometimes in combination with a linear motion of the whole body.
